The party game that needs nothing but phones

Say It is a word-guessing game for two teams. One player sees a word and describes it without saying it, their team shouts guesses, and the clock decides how many points they get. It takes a minute to explain and an evening to put down.

Nobody has to bring cards, a board or a timer. One person opens a room, the others scan the invite or tap the link, and everyone plays from the phone already in their pocket.

Why it works at a party

Everyone plays at once: while one person describes, the whole team is guessing, and the other team is listening for a slip. Turns rotate, so the quiet friend gets the spotlight too.

Before the game, anyone can add their own words. The inside jokes, the name of the bar from last summer, the phrase your friend always uses — the deck becomes a game about your group, not about a dictionary.

How many people can play?

From four to ten players split into two teams works best. Two teams of two is already a fun game; a full room of ten keeps everybody busy.

Do guests need to install or sign up?

No. The game runs in the browser. Guests type a name and join; only people who want to add ready-made word packs or save their own create a free account.
